Otto Sumray

I’m an ELBE postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Systems Biology Dresden.
My main interests are in applied topology, discrete Laplacians, and topological signal processing, and their applications to biological data.
In 2024 I completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford supervised by Heather Harrington, Vidit Nanda, and Xin Lu as part of Ludwig Cancer Research and the Centre for Topological Data Analysis.
Prior to my PhD, I completed my MMath in mathematics at the University of Oxford.
Thomas Chaplin and I created The Computational and Applied Topology List, a searchable and tagged repository of TDA software.
